Sometimes when you apply spray paint too fast, too heavy, too cold of a climate or too humid of an atmosphere, you can get runs and sags in your paint.
Nobody is perfect and lifehack, which we describe here, uses a putty that controls the thickness of the grinding layer to evenly polished surfaces.
As a starting point we clean up the surface with CP015 silicone remover.
Applicated polyester soft putty CP339 is characterized by low density.
Mix small amount of putty with included in set hardener.
Then apply the putty on runs to cover them. After putty dries out, we start polishing. We can start with P800 sand paper, wetting the surface with water.
After wiping over the putty, we increase the gradation of paper to P1000, P1200 and P1500, remember while polishing keep the area wet.
Once again we increase the gradation of the paper to P2500 and as in the previous step polishing should be done wet.
Once the surface is dry, we begin to use PROFIX polishing paste. We start polishing by using FAST 1 paste. Work at slow speed, spreading a small amount of paste to achieve a smooth surface without visible scratches.
Then, depending on the effect, we can apply finer pastes No. 2 and No. 3, and end up by enhancing the color and protecting the painted surfaces by WAX application.
The PROFIX brand product is applied in a small amount using a sponge or cloth to the surface of the polished element.
After approx. 2 min, polish the surfaces with a cloth.
